Anabelle Cejas has been fundraising for the Breast Cancer Community since she was 6 years old. Originally inspired by her grandmother, Ana, who passed away from breast cancer, Anabelle organized bake sales, as well as bracelet and necklace sales to raise funds for the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" campaign. When her mom, Monica, was later diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020, Anabelle was only 14 years old. The impact Breast Cancer left on her family was the catalyst for this organization. As soon as Anabelle was old enough, she founded Comforting Pink Sisters with the help of her mom and older siblings. With them, she put together 100 care packages for the breast cancer patients at the same hospital her mom had received treatment. That Valentine's Day gift gram event has since become an annual tradition for Comforting Pink Sisters.
